ShopRecover Terms & Conditions

ShopRecover provides customer communication software for automotive repair and service businesses. Participating automotive businesses may use ShopRecover to communicate with customers by SMS regarding customer-service and vehicle-service matters.

SMS Program

Customers who provide consent may receive service-related text messages from a participating automotive business using ShopRecover. Messages may include missed-call follow-ups, appointment communications, repair or service updates, responses to customer inquiries, and other customer-service communications.

Customers may provide SMS consent through an automated telephone prompt. When telephone opt-in is offered, the caller is presented with an SMS consent disclosure and must affirmatively press 1 to consent before a recovery text message is sent. If the caller does not provide the requested affirmative consent, ShopRecover does not send the automated missed-call recovery message through that opt-in flow.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on customer interactions with the participating automotive business.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless plan.

Opting Out

You may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving SMS messages from the applicable messaging program. After opting out, you will no longer receive messages from that program unless you later opt back in.

Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Customer information is handled according to the ShopRecover Privacy Policy at Privacy Policy.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent information are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time as the ShopRecover service or applicable requirements change.
